Foger Switch Pro vs Geek Bar Pulse X2: Modular or 50K Disposable?

Quick answer: Both are $24.99 each, and both list bundles of 2 for $44.99 or 3 for $59.99. The Geek Bar Pulse X2 is a sealed disposable rated for up to 50,000 puffs in Regular mode. The Foger Switch Pro 30K is a modular kit: an 850 mAh power bank on a 200 mAh pod rated for up to 30,000 puffs in Normal mode, with $14.99 replacement pods. Pick the Pulse X2 for the bigger rating on one device; pick the Switch Pro if you want to keep the battery and rebuy only pods.

This comparison puts a keep-the-battery modular system next to one of the highest-rated sealed disposables we carry. They cost the same on day one, so the real question is how you plan to rebuy. Everything here comes from our own product pages, checked October 24, 2026. Where a page doesn’t list a detail, we say “not listed.” For related matchups, see Foger Switch Pro vs Geek Bar Mate 60K, Foger Switch Pro vs RAZ LTX, Geek Bar Pulse X2 vs RAZ RX and Geek Bar Mate 60K vs Pulse X2.
What’s the main difference between the Switch Pro and Pulse X2?
How you replace it. The Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K is a sealed, pre-filled disposable with USB-C charging. When it runs out, you buy another whole device.
The Foger Switch Pro 30K is a magnetic 850 mAh power bank that snaps onto a 200 mAh pre-filled pod. When the pod is empty, you snap on a Switch Pro replacement pod for $14.99 and keep the power bank. The pod page says the pod’s cell recharges only on the Switch Pro dock, so you need the device or the Switch Pro 1200mAh battery to use it.

Which one costs less per puff?
On a first purchase, the Pulse X2 wins on paper. At $24.99 for up to 50,000 Regular-mode puffs, it works out to about $0.50 per 1,000 puffs. A Switch Pro kit at $24.99 for up to 30,000 Normal-mode puffs is about $0.83 per 1,000. The bundles don’t change the order: in a 3-pack at $59.99 (about $20.00 each), the Pulse X2 is roughly $0.40 per 1,000 puffs and the Switch Pro roughly $0.67.
The Switch Pro closes the gap on repeat buys. A $14.99 replacement pod rated for up to 30,000 puffs is about $0.50 per 1,000, the same as a single Pulse X2, because you’re not paying for a new battery each time. A Pulse X2 bought in a 3-pack is still lower on rated puffs. These are rated maximums; real counts depend on draw length, mode and charging habits. Pulse mode cuts the X2’s rating to 25,000, and the Switch Pro’s Boost mode lowers its count by an amount its page doesn’t list.
How do the power modes compare?
Both have two settings. The Pulse X2 page lists Regular mode at up to 50,000 puffs and Pulse mode, described as a bigger hit, at up to 25,000. The Switch Pro lists Normal and Boost, with Normal rated for up to 30,000 puffs; Boost is a stronger setting, but its page doesn’t give a puff number. So even in its stronger mode, the Pulse X2 is rated close to the Switch Pro’s standard rating.
How do battery, screen and published detail compare?
The Switch Pro page is the more specific of the two on power. It lists an 850 mAh power bank plus a 200 mAh pod, fast USB-C charging with overcharge protection, and a spare 1200 mAh battery sold separately. The Pulse X2 page doesn’t list a battery capacity. Neither page lists an e-liquid volume.
The Pulse X2 has more listed on the device side: a 3D curved display that shows battery and e-liquid levels, adjustable airflow, and a dual mesh coil with VPU technology. The Switch Pro lists a 1.0 Ω dual mesh coil and a display screen but no airflow detail. Both list 5% nicotine. For general tips, see how to charge a vape; for setup, see how to use a Foger Switch Pro.
How do the flavor menus compare?
Our Pulse X2 page lists 24 flavors and our Switch Pro kit page lists 23. Once you own the Switch Pro power bank, the replacement pod page lists 50, which is the widest menu here. Flavor lists change, so check the product page on the day you order. For picks, see best Foger Switch Pro flavors or best Geek Bar Pulse X flavors, which share the Pulse X2’s flavor family.
