Foger Switch Pro vs Geek Bar Mate 60K: Modular Kits Compared

For adults 21+ only. Smokey Cloudz sells only to adults of legal age. See our Age Policy and Sales Restrictions. Vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

Quick answer: Both are modular: a rechargeable battery snaps onto a pre-filled pod you replace. The Geek Bar Mate 60K Kit and Foger Switch Pro 30K both start at $24.99, but Mate pods are rated for up to 60,000 puffs ($21.99 each) while Switch Pro pods are rated for up to 30,000 ($14.99 each). Pick the Mate for more puffs per pod and the lowest listed cost per puff. Pick the Switch Pro for cheaper pods, a much bigger pod flavor list (50) and bundle pricing on the kit.

The Foger Switch Pro and Geek Bar Mate 60K are built the same basic way. You keep a battery unit and swap in pre-filled pods that each carry their own small 200 mAh cell. That makes this a running-cost question as much as a hardware one: what you pay for the starter kit, what each refill pod costs and how many puffs it’s rated for. All figures here come from our product pages, checked October 24, 2026. Anything a page doesn’t list is marked “not listed.” For the Mate against another pod system, see Geek Bar Mate 60K vs RAZ Vue and Clio Platinum vs Mate 60K. For the Switch Pro against RAZ Vue, see Foger Switch Pro vs RAZ Vue.

How are the Switch Pro and Mate 60K systems built?

The Foger Switch Pro 30K is described as a modular disposable: a magnetic 850 mAh power bank snaps onto a 200 mAh pre-filled pod, for 1,050 mAh total. When the pod runs out, you keep the power bank. A spare Switch Pro 1200mAh battery dock is sold separately; its page says it’s encrypted to work only with genuine Switch Pro pods.

The Geek Bar Mate 60K Kit is a reusable 900 mAh device that pairs with a 200 mAh pod. Its page says each pod also works on its own, with the device adding the larger battery and the display. Mate replacement pods have a visible tank so you can check the liquid level.

Which is cheaper to keep using?

Start with the kit. Both are $24.99, so the Switch Pro works out to about $0.83 per 1,000 rated puffs ($24.99 ÷ 30) and the Mate about $0.42 ($24.99 ÷ 60). Buying three Switch Pro kits at $59.99 brings each to about $20.00, or roughly $0.67 per 1,000 puffs.

Refills tell the longer-term story:

  • Switch Pro pod: $14.99 for up to 30,000 puffs, about $0.50 per 1,000
  • Mate 60K pod: $21.99 for up to 60,000 puffs (Regular), about $0.37 per 1,000

So a Switch Pro pod costs less at the register, but a Mate pod costs less per rated puff. If you use the Mate’s Pulse mode (rated 30,000 puffs), its cost per 1,000 roughly doubles to about $0.73. The Switch Pro page doesn’t list a Boost-mode puff count, so we can’t run the same math there. These are rated maximums, not guarantees.

How do the modes and power compare?

The Switch Pro lists Normal mode, rated for up to 30,000 puffs, and Boost mode for denser vapor. The Mate lists Regular mode (up to 60,000 puffs per pod) and Pulse mode (up to 30,000). Neither page lists wattages. Coils are close: 1.0 Ω dual mesh on the Switch Pro and 1.1 Ω dual mesh on the Mate.

Can you mix pods between them?

No. The Switch Pro pod page says it’s built for the Switch Pro only and won’t fit RAZ or Geek Bar batteries. The Mate pod page says Mate pods fit only the Mate 60K device. Our pod compatibility chart lists what fits what across brands. For setup on the Foger side, see how to use a Foger Switch Pro.

Which has more flavors?

The Switch Pro, by a wide margin. Our Switch Pro replacement pod page lists 50 flavors, and the kit page lists 23. The Mate kit lists 8, and the Mate 60K replacement pod page lists 15. Flavors found on both systems’ pod lists include Miami Mint, Cool Mint, Blue Razz Ice, Watermelon Ice, Sour Apple Ice and Strawberry Banana. For more on the Foger lineup, see best Foger Switch Pro flavors.

Which should you pick?

Choose the Geek Bar Mate 60K if you want:

  • The highest listed puff rating per pod (60,000 in Regular)
  • The lowest listed cost per 1,000 puffs on refills
  • A pod with a visible tank that also works on its own

Choose the Foger Switch Pro if you want:

  • A lower price per pod ($14.99)
  • Far more pod flavors (50)
  • Kit bundle pricing and an optional 1200 mAh spare dock
