Foger Bit Not Working? How to Fix It
For adults 21+ only. Smokey Cloudz sells only to adults of legal age. See our Age Policy and Sales Restrictions. Vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.
Quick answer: If your Foger Bit is not working, start with the basics: remove any seals, charge it fully with a USB-C cable, and take a slow, steady draw. If it blinks or won’t fire, give it a full charge before trying again. If it charges but still produces little or no vapor, or tastes burnt, the 20 mL of e-liquid may be used up. Sealed devices can’t be refilled or repaired.

The Foger Bit Disposable Vape is a rechargeable disposable rated for up to 35,000 puffs, with a 20 mL e-liquid capacity and USB-C charging, according to our product page. It’s draw-activated: you inhale through the mouthpiece and it fires. Most “not working” problems come down to one of a handful of causes, and you can check them in a few minutes.
Why is my Foger Bit not working?
| Symptom | Most likely cause | What to try |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing happens on a brand-new device | Seal or sticker still on, or low battery from storage | Remove all seals; charge over USB-C |
| Light blinks when you draw | Battery low | Charge fully, then try again |
| Fires sometimes, not always | Draw too hard or too soft; lint near the airflow | Slow, steady draw; tap out lint |
| Weak vapor with a full charge | E-liquid running low | Device is near the end of its life |
| Burnt taste | Coil short of e-liquid; chain puffing | Rest between puffs; if it persists, replace it |
| Won’t charge | Cable, adapter or dirty port | Try another USB-C cable and adapter; clean the port with a dry swab |
How do I fix a Foger Bit that won’t hit?
- Check for seals. Look at the mouthpiece and the bottom of the device. A leftover plug blocks the airflow sensor.
- Charge it fully. Connect a USB-C cable and a wall adapter you know works. Leave it until it’s full, then unplug it. Our product page notes to avoid overcharging or leaving it plugged in for long periods.
- Use a slow draw. A very hard pull can flood the sensor, and a very soft one may not trigger it. Try a steady two-second draw.
- Clear the airflow. Tap the device gently against your palm, mouthpiece down, to shake out lint. Don’t push anything into the openings.
- Let it rest. If you took several puffs in a row, wait a few minutes so the wick can soak up liquid again.
- Warm it to room temperature. If it sat in a cold car, let it sit upright indoors before you try it.

Why is my Foger Bit blinking?
On most disposables, a blinking light when you draw means the battery is low. Our Foger Bit product page says that when vapor output drops or the device stops responding, it usually needs a recharge. Charge it fully over USB-C and try again.
If you’re seeing a “188” code, that’s a message reported on other Foger devices with screens. Our Foger vape blinking 188 guide covers what it means and what to try. For battery questions in general, see how long does a vape battery last.
Why won’t my Foger Bit charge?
- Try a different cable. Some USB-C cables carry power poorly or only fit loosely.
- Try a different adapter. A wall adapter is usually more reliable than a laptop port or a car charger.
- Check the port. Lint in the charging port can stop the cable seating. Clear it with a dry swab, never a metal tool. Our how to clean a disposable vape guide has step-by-step instructions.
- Keep it dry. Never charge a device that got wet. Let it dry fully first.
If the device still won’t charge with a known-good cable and adapter, the built-in battery may be at the end of its life.
Why does my Foger Bit taste burnt?
A burnt taste usually means the coil isn’t getting enough e-liquid. That happens near the end of a device’s life, or after many puffs back to back. Rest the device between puffs. If every puff tastes burnt after a rest and a full charge, the liquid is likely used up. See why a disposable vape tastes burnt for more.
Is my Foger Bit empty or broken?
The Foger Bit holds 20 mL of e-liquid and is rated for up to 35,000 puffs, but real use varies with how long and how often you puff. Signs that it’s simply finished:
- It charges and fires, but vapor is thin and flavor is weak
- Puffs taste burnt even after resting
- It has been in daily use for a long stretch
Signs of a problem other than being empty: it won’t charge with any cable, it arrived not working, or the body looks damaged or leaks. If a new device arrives damaged or doesn’t work, contact us with your order number. Our Refund and Returns policy explains the options.
How do I keep my Foger Bit working longer?
- Store it upright in a cool, dry place, out of hot cars and direct sun.
- Charge it before it’s completely flat, and unplug it once it’s full.
- Take slow, steady draws with short rests between puffs.
- Keep the mouthpiece and port free of lint.

A blinking light when you draw usually means the battery is low. Charge it fully with a USB-C cable and try again.
Why is my Foger Bit not hitting?
Check for seals, charge it, clear lint from the airflow and use a slow draw. If you took many puffs in a row, let it rest for a few minutes.
How long does the Foger Bit last?
It’s rated for up to 35,000 puffs with 20 mL of e-liquid. Real use depends on how often and how long you puff and how you charge it.
Can you reset a Foger Bit?
Our Foger Bit product page doesn’t list a reset procedure, so we don’t recommend one. Charging fully and letting the device rest are the best first steps. For other Foger devices, see how to reset a Foger vape.
