RAZ Vue Not Working? How to Fix It

For adults 21+ only. Smokey Cloudz sells only to adults of legal age. See our Age Policy and Sales Restrictions. Vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

Quick answer: If your RAZ Vue is not working, check three things first: the pod is clicked fully onto the power bank, the bank is charged over USB-C, and any seals are off the pod. The Vue is a two-part system, so a loose pod or a flat bank causes most problems. If a charged, seated pod still gives weak vapor, it is likely used up.

The RAZ Vue 50K Vape Kit is RAZ’s detachable-battery system. According to our product page, a 900 mAh power bank drives a clear 13 mL pod that has its own 420 mAh cell. Each pod is rated up to 50,000 puffs in Normal mode (12 W) or 25,000 in Boost (24 W), with an LED screen, leakproof bottom airflow and USB-C charging on the power bank. Because the Vue has two parts, troubleshooting is a little different from a sealed disposable like the RAZ LTX or RX. Work through the checks below in order.

Why is my RAZ Vue not working?

Symptom Most likely cause What to try
Nothing happens at all Pod not seated, or power bank flat Remove and reattach the pod; charge the bank over USB-C
Brand-new pod won’t fire Seal or plug still on the pod Check the mouthpiece and the base of the pod for stickers or plugs
Light or screen blinks when you draw Low battery Charge the power bank fully, then try again
Fires only sometimes Loose connection, or a draw that’s too hard or too soft Reseat the pod; take a slow, steady draw
Weak or thin vapor on a full charge Pod running low on e-liquid Swap in a new pod
Burnt taste Coil short of e-liquid, or chain puffing Rest, use Normal mode; replace the pod if it persists (burnt taste guide)
Won’t charge Cable, adapter or dirty port Try another USB-C cable and adapter; clear the port with a dry swab

How do I fix a RAZ Vue that won’t hit?

  1. Remove every seal. On a new pod, look at the mouthpiece and the bottom of the pod. A leftover plug blocks the airflow and the sensor won’t trigger.
  2. Reseat the pod. Take the pod off the power bank, check that nothing is caught between them, and attach it again until it sits flush. A pod that’s slightly crooked may not make contact.
  3. Charge the power bank. Plug the bank into a USB-C cable and a wall adapter you know works. Leave it until it reads full, then unplug it.
  4. Check the screen. The Vue has an LED screen. If it lights up when you draw, the bank is getting power and the problem is more likely the pod or airflow.
  5. Take a slow draw. A very hard pull can flood the airflow, and a very soft one may not trigger the sensor. Try a steady two-second draw.
  6. Try Normal mode. Our product page lists Normal (12 W) and Boost (24 W). If Boost tastes harsh or the pod seems to struggle, switch back to Normal.
  7. Let it rest. After several puffs in a row, wait a few minutes so the wick can soak up liquid again.

Is there a reset button on the RAZ Vue?

Our product page does not list a reset button or a reset sequence for the Vue, so we won’t invent one. What people usually mean by a “reset” on the Vue is a soft reset: take the pod off, charge the power bank fully, then reattach the pod firmly. Our how to reset a RAZ vape guide walks through that soft-reset checklist for the LTX, RX and Vue. Avoid button-press combinations you find online unless they come from the manufacturer’s own instructions.

Why is my RAZ Vue blinking?

On most rechargeable devices, a blinking light or screen when you draw points to low battery. Charge the power bank fully over USB-C and try again. If it still blinks with a full charge, take the pod off, check the contacts for dust or moisture, wipe them gently with a dry cloth, and reattach it. If the blinking only started with a new pod, try another pod. That tells you whether the problem is the pod or the power bank.

Why won’t my RAZ Vue charge?

  • Charge the bank, not the pod. Our product page lists USB-C charging on the power bank. The pod’s own 420 mAh cell is part of the pod.
  • Swap the cable. Some USB-C cables only carry power poorly or fit loosely.
  • Swap the adapter. A wall adapter is usually more reliable than a laptop port or car charger.
  • Check the port. Lint in the USB-C port can stop the cable seating. Clear it with a dry swab, never a metal tool. Our how to clean a disposable vape guide covers ports and mouthpieces.
  • Keep it dry. Never charge a device that got wet. Let it dry fully first.

Our product page does not list a full charge time for the Vue. If the bank won’t charge with a known-good cable and adapter, it may be at the end of its life. See how long does a vape battery last for what affects battery life.

Is my Vue pod empty or is something broken?

Each Vue pod holds 13 mL and is rated up to 50,000 puffs in Normal mode, or 25,000 in Boost. Puff counts are manufacturer ratings, and real use depends on how long and how often you draw. The pod is clear, so you can also look at the liquid level. Signs the pod is simply finished:

  • It fires with a charged bank, but vapor is thin and flavor is weak
  • Puffs taste burnt even after resting
  • You can see little or no liquid left in the pod

If the pod is done, keep the power bank and add a RAZ Vue 50K Replacement Pod ($24.99, 18 flavors listed today). Vue pods fit the Vue 50K bank only. They don’t fit the RAZ LTX or RX, which are sealed disposables. Our replacement pod compatibility chart covers which pods fit which device.

Signs of a fault rather than an empty pod: the bank won’t charge with any cable, a new pod arrived not working, or the device looks damaged or leaks. If a new product arrives damaged or doesn’t work, contact us with your order number. Our Refund and Returns policy explains the options.

How do I keep my RAZ Vue working longer?

  • Store it upright in a cool, dry place, out of hot cars and direct sun.
  • Charge the power bank before it’s completely flat, and unplug it once it’s full.
  • Keep the contacts between the pod and the bank clean and dry.
  • Use Normal mode for everyday use. Boost is rated for fewer puffs per pod.

FAQ

Most often the pod isn’t fully seated on the power bank, the bank needs a charge, or a seal is still on a new pod. Reseat the pod, charge over USB-C and take a slow, steady draw.

Does the RAZ Vue have a reset button?

Our product page doesn’t list one. A soft reset means removing the pod, fully charging the power bank, then reattaching the pod firmly.

Do I charge the RAZ Vue pod or the power bank?

Charge the power bank. Our product page lists USB-C charging on the 900 mAh bank. The pod has its own 420 mAh cell built in.

How many puffs does a RAZ Vue pod last?

Each 13 mL pod is rated up to 50,000 puffs in Normal mode or 25,000 in Boost. Puff counts are manufacturer ratings, and real use varies.

Will a RAZ Vue pod fit a RAZ LTX or RX?

No. The LTX and RX are sealed disposables. Vue pods fit the Vue 50K power bank only.

What should I do if my new RAZ Vue arrived not working?

Remove all seals, reseat the pod and charge the bank first. If it still doesn’t work, contact us with your order number before further use.
