Geek Bar Pulse X vs Foger Switch Pro: Sealed 25K or Modular 30K?

For adults 21+ only. Smokey Cloudz sells only to adults of legal age. See our Age Policy and Sales Restrictions. Vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

Quick answer: Both are $24.99 each, and both list bundles of 2 for $44.99 or 3 for $59.99. The Geek Bar Pulse X 25K is a sealed disposable with 18 mL of e-liquid, rated for up to 25,000 puffs in Regular mode. The Foger Switch Pro 30K is a modular kit: an 850 mAh power bank on a 200 mAh pod rated for up to 30,000 puffs in Normal mode, with $14.99 replacement pods. The Switch Pro has the higher rating and the cheaper refills; the Pulse X is the simpler, single-piece option with a 3D curved screen.

This guide compares a well-known Geek Bar disposable with Foger’s keep-the-battery system. They cost the same on day one, so the real differences are puff rating, how you rebuy and which specs each page actually publishes. Everything here comes from our own product pages, checked October 24, 2026. If a page doesn’t list a detail, we say “not listed.” For related matchups, see Foger Switch Pro vs Geek Bar Pulse X2, Geek Bar Pulse X vs RAZ LTX and Foger Switch Pro vs RAZ LTX.

What’s the main difference between the Pulse X and Switch Pro?

What you replace. The Geek Bar Pulse X 25K is a sealed, pre-filled disposable with 18 mL of e-liquid and USB-C charging. When it runs out, you buy a new device.

The Foger Switch Pro 30K is a magnetic 850 mAh power bank that snaps onto a 200 mAh pre-filled pod. When the pod is empty, you snap on a Switch Pro replacement pod for $14.99 and keep the power bank. The pod page says the pod’s cell recharges only on the Switch Pro dock, so you need the device or the Switch Pro 1200mAh battery ($9.99) to use it.

Which one costs less per puff?

The Switch Pro, at every level we checked. A single Switch Pro kit at $24.99 for up to 30,000 Normal-mode puffs is about $0.83 per 1,000. A single Pulse X at $24.99 for up to 25,000 Regular-mode puffs is about $1.00 per 1,000.

The bundles keep the same order. In a 3-pack at $59.99 (about $20.00 each), the Switch Pro comes to roughly $0.67 per 1,000 rated puffs and the Pulse X to roughly $0.80. The gap gets wider on refills: a $14.99 Switch Pro pod rated for up to 30,000 puffs is about $0.50 per 1,000, because you aren’t paying for a new battery each time.

These are rated maximums, and real counts depend on draw length, mode and charging habits. Pulse mode drops the Pulse X to 15,000. The Switch Pro’s Boost mode also lowers its count, but its page doesn’t say by how much.

How do the power modes compare?

Both have two settings. The Pulse X lists Regular mode at up to 25,000 puffs and Pulse mode, which gives a stronger hit, at up to 15,000. The Switch Pro lists Normal at up to 30,000 and Boost for denser vapor, with no Boost puff number published. If you mostly use the standard setting, the Switch Pro’s rating is 5,000 puffs higher.

How do screen, e-liquid and published detail compare?

Each page publishes different details. The Pulse X page lists 18 mL of e-liquid, a 3D curved screen (our page says it was the first disposable with one), a dual-core chip with dual mesh coils, adjustable airflow and 5% nicotine. It doesn’t list a battery capacity.

The Switch Pro page lists its batteries (850 mAh bank plus 200 mAh pod), fast USB-C charging with overcharge protection, a 1.0 Ω dual mesh coil and a display screen. It doesn’t list e-liquid volume or airflow. For setup help, see how to use a Foger Switch Pro. If your Pulse X acts up, see our Geek Bar Pulse X troubleshooting guide.

How do the flavor menus compare?

Our Pulse X page lists 21 flavors and our Switch Pro kit page lists 23. Once you own the Switch Pro power bank, the replacement pod page lists 50, the widest menu in this comparison. Flavor lists change, so check the product page on the day you order. For picks, see best Geek Bar Pulse X flavors or best Foger Switch Pro flavors.

Which should you pick?

Choose the Foger Switch Pro 30K if you want:

  • The higher standard-mode rating (up to 30,000 vs 25,000)
  • Lower rated cost per puff, plus $14.99 refill pods
  • A 50-flavor pod menu once you own the power bank

Choose the Geek Bar Pulse X 25K if you want:

  • A single sealed device with nothing to swap
  • A published 18 mL e-liquid volume and adjustable airflow
  • Geek Bar’s 3D curved screen
