Quick answer: The Geek Bar Pulse 2 and Pulse X2 are both $24.99, but the Pulse X2 is rated for twice the puffs: up to 50,000 in Regular mode versus 25,000 for the Pulse 2. In Pulse mode the X2 is rated for 25,000 and the Pulse 2 for 15,000. Pick the X2 for the most puffs per dollar and bundle pricing. Pick the Pulse 2 for its dome full screen, Binary Orbit lighting and a listed 800 mAh battery.

These are two current Geek Bar Pulse models at the same price, one in the 25K class and one in the 50K class. Both use Regular and Pulse modes, dual mesh coils with VPU and adjustable airflow, so the decision mostly comes down to how long you want one device to last versus which screen and design you prefer. Every spec below is from our product pages, checked October 24, 2026; anything not listed there is marked “not listed.” Comparing the Pulse 2 with the other 25K model instead? See Geek Bar Pulse 2 vs Pulse X. Comparing the Pulse X with the X2? That’s in Pulse X vs Pulse X2. This guide covers only the Pulse 2 and the Pulse X2.

What’s the difference between the Geek Bar Pulse 2 and Pulse X2?

Puff rating is the headline. The Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K is rated for up to 50,000 puffs in Regular mode and 25,000 in Pulse mode. The Geek Bar Pulse 2 is rated for up to 25,000 in Regular and 15,000 in Pulse. So the X2’s stronger Pulse mode is rated for as many puffs as the Pulse 2’s Regular mode.

The design differs too. The Pulse 2 introduces a raised dome full screen and what its page calls Binary Orbit lighting. The Pulse X2 uses a 3D curved display.

Which is the better value per puff?

The Pulse X2, clearly. At the same $24.99, the Pulse 2 works out to about $1.00 per 1,000 rated puffs in Regular mode ($24.99 ÷ 25), while the X2 is about $0.50 ($24.99 ÷ 50). In Pulse mode, it’s about $1.67 for the Pulse 2 and $1.00 for the X2.

The X2 page also lists bundles. Three for $59.99 brings each device to about $20.00, or roughly $0.40 per 1,000 puffs in Regular mode. The Pulse 2 page doesn’t list bundle pricing. These are rated maximums; actual counts depend on how often and how long you draw, and on which mode you use.

How do Regular and Pulse modes work on each?

Both have the same two-mode setup. Regular is the smoother, longer-lasting mode. Pulse gives a more concentrated hit and is rated for fewer puffs. On the Pulse 2, switching to Pulse cuts the rating from 25,000 to 15,000. On the X2, it drops from 50,000 to 25,000. Neither page lists wattages for either mode. If a device isn’t responding the way you expect, our Pulse X troubleshooting guide covers common Pulse-family issues.

How do the screens and design compare?

Both screens show battery and e-liquid levels. The Pulse 2’s raised dome full screen and Binary Orbit lighting are its standout features on our page. The X2’s page describes a 3D curved display. Neither page lists screen size or resolution, so we can’t compare them more precisely than that. If the look of the device matters to you, the Pulse 2 is the one with the newer design details listed.

Is battery life different?

We can’t make a full comparison. The Pulse 2 page lists an 800 mAh high-voltage cell with USB-C fast charging. The Pulse X2 page says it’s USB-C rechargeable but doesn’t list battery capacity. Both are rechargeable and neither is refillable, so the device is finished when the e-liquid runs out, not when the battery does. For charging tips that apply to both, see how to charge a vape.

How do the flavor lists compare?

Each page lists 24 flavors. A few are on both menus, which makes switching between them easy:

  • Blue Razz Ice
  • Miami Mint
  • Watermelon Ice
  • Stone Freeze

Beyond those, the Pulse 2 menu includes fruit picks like Juicy Peach Ice, Mexico Mango, Dragon Melon, Peach Lemonade, Sour Apple Ice and Frozen White Grape. The X2 menu adds options like Blackberry Blueberry, Jam Raspberry, Strawberry Watermelon, White Peach Raspberry and Slush Peach. Flavor stock changes, so check the product pages for what’s available now. For broader ideas, see Geek Bar flavors.

Which should you pick?

Choose the Geek Bar Pulse X2 if you want:

  • The highest puff rating at this price (50,000 Regular / 25,000 Pulse)
  • The lowest cost per rated puff, plus bundle pricing

Choose the Geek Bar Pulse 2 if you want:

  • The raised dome full screen and Binary Orbit lighting
  • A listed 800 mAh battery with USB-C fast charging
  • A smaller 25K-class device you’ll finish sooner and can switch flavors more often
