The Pulse 2 is the newer 25K model in the Geek Bar Pulse family, and the Pulse X is the 25K model many shoppers already know. On paper they’re closer than most comparisons: same price, same two-mode puff ratings and same nicotine strength. The differences are the screen, the lighting, what each page lists for battery and e-liquid, and the flavor menus. Everything below comes from our product pages, checked October 24, 2026. Missing specs are marked “not listed.”
This page is about the two 25K models. For the original 15K Pulse, read Geek Bar Pulse vs Pulse X. For the 50K model, read Pulse X vs Pulse X2.
Is the Geek Bar Pulse 2 the same as the Pulse X?
No, though they’re built around the same idea. Both list a Regular mode rated for up to 25,000 puffs and a stronger Pulse mode rated for up to 15,000. Both run dual mesh coils with Geek Bar’s VPU tech. Where they split is the design. The Geek Bar Pulse 2 lists a raised dome full screen with battery and e-liquid display, plus Binary Orbit lighting. The Geek Bar Pulse X 25K lists a 3D curved screen and a dual-core chip.

Puff counts are manufacturer ratings. How long either one lasts for you depends on how often you vape and how much time you spend in Pulse mode.
Does the Pulse 2 last longer than the Pulse X?
Not by the ratings. Both are rated for up to 25,000 puffs in Regular mode and 15,000 in Pulse mode, so neither is listed as lasting longer. The Pulse X lists 18 mL of e-liquid; the Pulse 2 page does not list an e-liquid volume, so we can’t say which holds more. The Pulse 2 lists an 800 mAh battery; the Pulse X page doesn’t list a capacity. Both recharge over USB-C, so battery size affects how often you charge, not how many puffs you get. For charging tips, see how to charge a vape.
What’s different about the screens and design?
This is where the two really differ. The Pulse 2’s raised dome full screen shows battery and e-liquid, and its Binary Orbit lighting is the new visual feature in this model. The Pulse X’s 3D curved screen was, per our product page, the first curved screen on a disposable. If you care about how the device looks and reads at a glance, compare the product photos on both pages. If you don’t, the two work the same way day to day: pick a mode, set the airflow, vape, recharge.
Which is the better value?
For a single device, they’re equal at $24.99. The Pulse X page lists 2 for $44.99 or 3 for $59.99 (about $20 each at three); the Pulse 2 page doesn’t list multi-pack pricing. If you stock up, the Pulse X is the cheaper way to buy several. For other options at this price, see best disposable vapes under $25.
Which has better flavor options?
The Pulse 2 lists 24 flavors and the Pulse X lists 21. They share a few, including Blue Razz Ice, Miami Mint and Sour Apple Ice. Pulse 2 picks include Juicy Peach Ice, Watermelon Ice, Strawberry Banana, Dragon Melon and Mexico Mango. Pulse X picks include Cool Mint, Strawberry Kiwi Ice, White Peach Raspberry and Strawberry Colada. See our Geek Bar flavors guide and best Pulse X flavors for more.
Should you buy the Pulse 2 or the Pulse X?
