Quick answer: Both are $24.99 on our pages and both are rated for up to 50,000 puffs in their standard mode. The Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K is a sealed disposable with two modes, a 3D curved screen and bundle pricing of 2 for $44.99 or 3 for $59.99. The Geek Bar Clio Platinum 50K is a battery-plus-pod kit with two screens and three modes, and its replacement pods are also $24.99. These are two of Geek Bar’s 50K devices, and they share a brand, a price and a top puff rating. What separates them is the format: one is a sealed disposable, the other is a device you keep while swapping pods. Everything below comes from our own product pages, checked October 24, 2026. When a page doesn’t list a detail, we say “not listed” instead of guessing. For related matchups, see RAZ Vue vs Geek Bar Clio Platinum, Geek Bar Mate 60K vs Pulse X2 and Geek Bar Pulse X vs Pulse X2.

What’s the main difference between the Clio Platinum and Pulse X2?

The build. The Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K is a sealed, pre-filled disposable. Our page calls it Geek Bar’s longest-running Pulse yet, with VPU tech and a 3D curved screen that shows battery and e-liquid levels. When it runs out, you replace the whole device.

The Geek Bar Clio Platinum 50K Vape Kit is a battery plus a pod. Our page describes a two-screen system: a 360° screen on the pod and a separate display on the device. When a pod is finished, you add a Clio Platinum 50K replacement pod and keep the device. If you like the idea of one device on the desk and pods in the drawer, that’s the Clio. If you’d rather grab a fresh sealed unit every time, that’s the Pulse X2.

Puff counts are manufacturer ratings. Real-world numbers depend on how often and how hard you draw, and on which mode you use.

Which one costs less over time?

At the single-unit level, they’re tied at $24.99. The gap opens when you rebuy. The Pulse X2 page lists 2 for $44.99 (about $22.50 each) and 3 for $59.99 (about $20.00 each). The Clio Platinum kit and pod pages don’t list bundle tiers, and the replacement pod is $24.99, the same as the kit.

So on today’s pricing, buying three Pulse X2 units costs $59.99, while a Clio kit plus two pods costs $74.97. That’s a $14.98 difference in favor of the Pulse X2 for the same top rating per unit. The Clio’s value is the reusable device and the second screen, not a lower refill price. Prices can change, so check the product pages on the day you order.

How do the power modes differ?

The Clio Platinum has three modes: Regular (up to 50,000 puffs), Pulse (25,000) and Super Pulse (20,000). Our page explains that Pulse and Super Pulse run harder, so their puff ratings drop. The Pulse X2 has two: Regular (up to 50,000) and Pulse (25,000), with Pulse described as giving a bigger hit.

At the top two settings the ratings match exactly. The Clio simply adds a third, stronger step. If you know you’ll stay in Regular most of the time, the extra mode won’t change much for you. If you like to switch up through settings, the Clio gives you one more option. Either way, a stronger mode lowers the expected puff count.

What about screens and everyday use?

Both lean on displays. The Pulse X2 has a 3D curved screen that our page says shows battery and e-liquid levels at a glance. The Clio Platinum splits its display across two places: a 360° screen on the pod and a display on the device itself.

The Clio page also lists a dual mesh coil and adjustable airflow, which lets you tune the draw. The Pulse X2 page doesn’t list airflow or coil details, so we won’t claim either. Both charge through USB-C; on the Clio, charging happens on the device, not the pod. Our guide on how to charge a vape covers cables and charge habits.

How many flavors does each offer?

This is a clear win for the Pulse X2. Our Pulse X2 page lists 24 flavors. The Clio Platinum kit page lists 10, and the replacement pod page lists 4. That matters for the Clio: once you own the device, your refill choice is limited to what the pod page carries.

Flavor lists change, so pick your flavor on the product page to see what’s currently available. If you want ideas within the Pulse family, our best Geek Bar Pulse flavors guide is a good starting point, and Geek Bar flavors covers the wider range.

Which should you buy: Clio Platinum or Pulse X2?

Choose the Pulse X2 50K if you want the lowest cost per unit through bundles, a much longer flavor list, and a simple sealed device with no pods to manage.

Choose the Clio Platinum 50K if you prefer keeping one device and swapping pods, want a third Super Pulse mode, and like the two-screen layout and adjustable airflow.

Clio pods are made for the Clio system only; our Geek Bar and RAZ pod compatibility chart shows what fits where. For a wider look at long-running options, see what disposable vape lasts the longest.
