Geek Bar Pulse 2 vs Foger Switch Pro: Sealed or Swap-Pod?

For adults 21+ only. Smokey Cloudz sells only to adults of legal age. See our Age Policy and Sales Restrictions. Vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

Quick answer: Both are $24.99 on our pages. The Geek Bar Pulse 2 is a sealed disposable rated for up to 25,000 puffs (Regular) or 15,000 (Pulse), with an 800 mAh cell and a raised dome full screen. The Foger Switch Pro is a modular kit: an 850 mAh power bank plus a 200 mAh pod rated for up to 30,000 puffs in Normal mode, and replacement pods are $14.99. Pick the Pulse 2 for one finished device with a standout screen; pick the Switch Pro for the lowest refill cost and multi-buy pricing.

These two land at the same starting price, but they’re built differently. One is a sealed Geek Bar disposable you replace when it’s done. The other is a Foger power bank you keep while you swap pre-filled pods. Everything below comes from our own product pages, checked October 24, 2026. When a page doesn’t list a detail, we say “not listed” instead of guessing. For related matchups, see Geek Bar Pulse 2 vs Pulse X2, Foger Switch Pro vs Geek Bar Mate 60K and Geek Bar Pulse 2 vs RAZ LTX.

What’s the main difference between the Geek Bar Pulse 2 and Foger Switch Pro?

The format. The Geek Bar Pulse 2 is a sealed, pre-filled disposable. Our page lists an 800 mAh high-voltage cell, dual mesh coils with VPU tech, adjustable airflow, 5% (50 mg/mL) nicotine, Binary Orbit lighting and a raised dome full screen that shows battery and e-liquid levels.

The Foger Switch Pro is modular. A magnetic 850 mAh power bank snaps onto a 200 mAh pre-filled pod, for 1050 mAh total. When the pod runs out, you keep the power bank and snap on a new pod. Our page lists a 1.0 Ω dual mesh coil, 5% (50 mg/mL) nicotine, a display screen and USB-C fast charging with overcharge protection.

So the Pulse 2 is one piece, and the Switch Pro is a battery you keep plus pods you replace.

Puff counts are manufacturer ratings. Real totals depend on how long and how often you draw, and on which mode you use.

Which one costs less over time?

The Switch Pro, and refills widen the gap. A $24.99 Pulse 2 rated for up to 25,000 puffs in Regular mode works out to about $1.00 per 1,000 rated puffs. A $24.99 Switch Pro kit rated for up to 30,000 puffs is about $0.83 per 1,000.

After the first kit, Switch Pro replacement pods are $14.99 each and rated for up to 30,000 puffs, which is about $0.50 per 1,000. The kit page also shows 2 for $44.99 or 3 for $59.99; at 3 for $59.99 each kit is $20.00, or about $0.67 per 1,000.

Our Pulse 2 page doesn’t show bundle tiers to guest visitors, so we only compare its single price. In Pulse mode, its 15,000-puff rating works out to about $1.67 per 1,000.

How do the modes compare?

Both have two settings, but they’re labeled and rated differently. The Pulse 2 offers smooth Regular mode (up to 25,000 puffs) or concentrated Pulse mode (up to 15,000 puffs).

The Switch Pro lists Normal mode at up to 30,000 puffs and a Boost mode for denser vapor. Our page doesn’t give a Boost puff count, so we don’t estimate one. Neither page lists wattage per mode. If you use the stronger setting often, expect your real total to drop on both devices.

Which has the better screen and design?

The Pulse 2 leans hardest on design. Our page lists a raised dome full screen with battery and e-liquid display, plus Binary Orbit lighting. It also lists adjustable airflow, so you can tune the draw.

The Switch Pro lists a display screen but puts its focus on the swap-pod setup: the magnetic power bank stays with you, and each pod carries its own 200 mAh cell. Our page says the pod recharges only when it’s docked on the Switch Pro power bank. Airflow adjustment isn’t mentioned, so we treat it as not listed.

How many flavors does each one have?

Our Pulse 2 page lists 24 flavors today. The Switch Pro kit lists 23, and Switch Pro replacement pods list 50. So the two kits are close, but the Switch Pro opens up the biggest menu once you own the power bank.

Switch Pro pods are made for the Switch Pro power bank, so check our replacement pod compatibility guide before you mix and match. For flavor picks, see best Foger Switch Pro flavors. Flavor lists change, so check each product page on the day you order.

Which should you buy?

Choose the Geek Bar Pulse 2 if you want:

  • One sealed device with no pods to manage
  • A raised dome full screen and Binary Orbit lighting
  • Adjustable airflow and Geek Bar’s Regular/Pulse modes

Choose the Foger Switch Pro if you want:

  • The higher rating here (up to 30,000 puffs in Normal mode)
  • Cheap refills at $14.99 per pod, or multi-buy kit pricing
  • The biggest pod flavor list (50)
