How to Use the Geek Bar Pulse X (Modes, Charging & First Hit)
Quick answer: To use the Geek Bar Pulse X 25K, take it out of the packaging, remove any protective sticker or cap from the mouthpiece, and draw gently. It’s draw-activated, so there’s no fire button. Choose Regular mode (rated up to 25,000 puffs) or Pulse mode (a stronger hit, rated up to 15,000 puffs) using the mode switch. Recharge it through USB-C when the screen shows the battery is low.
For adults 21+ only.
What’s in the box
The Pulse X 25K is a sealed, pre-filled disposable with 18 mL of e-liquid. It isn’t a refillable kit. You don’t fill it, change coils or swap pods. It’s $24.99 each, and you can see the multi-pack pricing on the product page.
How to use the Geek Bar Pulse X, step by step
- Unbox it. Peel off any sticker or silicone cap on the mouthpiece and the airflow area.
- Check the screen. The curved display shows battery and e-liquid levels. If it doesn’t wake up, it may be locked or need a charge (see below).
- Pick a mode. Use the switch to choose Regular or Pulse. The device’s packaging shows exactly where the switch is and which position is which.
- Take your first draw. Draw slowly and gently. Short, easy pulls work better than hard ones.
- Recharge when low. Plug in a USB-C cable when the battery indicator runs low.
Geek Bar Pulse settings: Regular vs Pulse mode
The Pulse X has two settings:
- Regular mode: a smoother, everyday draw, rated for up to 25,000 puffs.
- Pulse mode: a stronger hit, rated for up to 15,000 puffs, so the device runs out sooner.
You can switch between them whenever you like. The puff counts are manufacturer ratings, and your actual count will depend on how you use the device.

How to charge the Pulse X
The Pulse X charges through USB-C. Plug it into a standard USB-C cable and a wall adapter or computer port, then unplug it once the screen shows the battery is full. Charging time varies. Don’t use a damaged cable.
Screen won’t turn on or it won’t hit?
Many Geek Bar devices have a child lock. If the screen stays dark or the device won’t fire, follow our guide on how to unlock a Geek vape or Pulse X. If it still won’t work, charge it for a while and then try again.
