Geek Bar CLR 50K vs Clio Platinum: Sealed or Pod Kit?

For adults 21+ only. Smokey Cloudz sells only to adults of legal age. See our Age Policy and Sales Restrictions. Vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

Quick answer: Both are $24.99 on our pages, and both are rated for up to 50,000 puffs in Regular mode. The Geek Bar CLR 50K is a sealed disposable with a crystal-clear body, a 900 mAh high-voltage cell and 19 flavors. The Geek Bar Clio Platinum 50K is a kit (device + pod) with two screens, three modes and $24.99 replacement pods. Pick the CLR for a sealed device and more flavors; pick the Clio Platinum to keep the device and swap pods.

These two Geek Bar devices share a price and a top rating, so the choice comes down to build, modes and flavor range. Everything below comes from our own product pages, checked October 24, 2026. When a page doesn’t list a detail, we say “not listed” instead of guessing. For related matchups, see Geek Bar Pulse X2 vs CLR 50K, Geek Bar Clio Platinum vs Mate 60K and RAZ Vue vs Geek Bar Clio Platinum.

What’s the main difference between the CLR 50K and Clio Platinum?

The build. The Geek Bar CLR 50K is a sealed disposable. Our page describes a crystal-clear body with a 3D waterfall glow and a 900 mAh high-voltage cell that keeps flavor steady from full charge down to 5%. When it’s empty, you replace the whole device.

The Geek Bar Clio Platinum 50K Kit is a battery-plus-pod system. It has a 360° screen on the pod and a display on the device. When a pod runs out, you keep the device and add a Clio Platinum replacement pod.

Both are rated for up to 50,000 puffs in Regular mode. If you want nothing to swap, the CLR is simpler. If you’d rather keep a device and change pods, the Clio fits that habit.

Puff counts are manufacturer ratings. Real totals depend on how long and how often you draw, and on which mode you use.

Which one costs less over time?

On paper, they’re even. A $24.99 CLR rated for up to 50,000 puffs works out to about $0.50 per 1,000 rated puffs. A $24.99 Clio Platinum kit has the same rating, so it’s also about $0.50 per 1,000.

Refills don’t change the math. Clio Platinum replacement pods are $24.99 each and rated for up to 50,000 puffs in Regular mode, which is again about $0.50 per 1,000. Neither the CLR page nor the Clio pages list bundle tiers, so we only compare single prices.

One practical difference: with the Clio, a new pod keeps the same device, screens and charging setup you already know. With the CLR, each new device starts fresh with a full battery and a new body. Neither approach changes the listed price, but it does change what you keep between purchases.

Because cost per rated puff is a tie, the choice comes down to build, modes and flavors rather than price.

Free shipping applies to orders of $150 or more within allowed U.S. destinations.

How do the power modes differ?

The CLR lists two modes. Regular is rated for up to 50,000 puffs, and Pulse for up to 25,000.

The Clio Platinum lists three. Regular is rated for up to 50,000 puffs, Pulse for up to 25,000 and Super Pulse for up to 20,000. Our kit page notes that Pulse and Super Pulse run harder, so their ratings are lower.

If you want an extra step above Pulse, the Clio is the only one of the two that offers it. If two modes are enough, the CLR covers the same Regular and Pulse ratings.

What about batteries, screens and build?

The CLR lists a 900 mAh high-voltage cell, a dual mesh coil with VPU, an LED display, adjustable airflow and USB-C charging. Its clear body shows the device inside, which is its most visible design feature.

The Clio Platinum lists two screens: a 360° screen on the pod and a display on the device. It uses a dual mesh coil with adjustable airflow and charges through USB-C on the device. Our Clio pages don’t list battery capacity.

Neither page lists an e-liquid volume, so we can’t compare fill sizes. Both list 5% nicotine. For charging tips, see our guide on how to charge a vape.

How many flavors does each offer?

Our CLR 50K page lists 19 flavors, the larger list in this matchup.

Our Clio Platinum kit page lists 10 flavors, and the replacement pod page lists 4. Pods let you change flavor without buying a new device, but the pod list is shorter.

If variety is your priority, the CLR has nearly twice as many options as the Clio kit.

Which should you buy: CLR 50K or Clio Platinum?

Choose the Geek Bar CLR 50K if you want a sealed device with nothing to swap, a listed 900 mAh cell, a clear body and 19 flavors.

Choose the Geek Bar Clio Platinum 50K if you want to keep the device and swap $24.99 pods, a third Super Pulse mode and two screens.

Clio pods are made for the Clio; see our pod compatibility chart before you buy pods for another device.
