Why Is My Geek Bar Leaking?

For adults 21+ only. Smokey Cloudz sells only to adults of legal age; see our Age Policy and Sales Restrictions. Vapes contain nicotine, an addictive chemical.

Quick answer: Most “leaks” are condensation that builds up in the mouthpiece from hard or very frequent draws, or from storing the device on its side in heat. Wipe the mouthpiece, store it upright at room temperature, and take gentler draws. A device that is cracked or keeps pooling liquid on the outside should not be used — check our returns policy.

Common causes

  1. Condensation, not a true leak — vapor cools and collects in the mouthpiece. Wipe it and tap the device on your palm.
  2. Hard or chain draws — pull more liquid than the coil can vaporize. Use slower, gentler draws.
  3. Heat and pressure — leaving a device in a hot car or in direct sun can push liquid out. FDA advises protecting vapes from extreme temperatures (FDA: Tips to Help Avoid Vape Battery Fires or Explosions, checked Oct 22, 2026).
  4. Pod not seated (pod-based models such as Geek Bar Mate or Clio Platinum kits) — remove and re-seat the pod until it clicks.
  5. Physical damage — drops can crack the housing.

What not to do

  • Don’t open a sealed disposable or try to refill it.
  • Don’t keep using a device with a cracked tank or housing.
